Department Overview / Introduction

The Department of Political Science & International Relations was established in 2022 at Thal University, Bhakkar. Since its inception, the Department has been committed to providing high-quality education and promoting academic inquiry in the disciplines of Political Science and International Relations. The Department welcomed its first batch of BS International Relations students in 2022 and has since grown into a dynamic academic unit dedicated to preparing students for careers in academia, public service, diplomacy, policy analysis, research, and international organizations. Through a multidisciplinary curriculum, the Department encourages students to develop a comprehensive understanding of political systems, governance, foreign policy, international security, diplomacy, and global affairs. The Department emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical engagement to prepare students for an increasingly interconnected world.
